On Tuesday 24th March 2015, at 9.30 hours, at Main Hall, 1st Floor, Parliament Building 1, Mr. Surachai Liengboonlerchai, First Vice-President of the National Legislative Assembly, presided over the MoU Signing Ceremony on Supporting and Developing the ASEAN Legal Database among the Secretariat of the Senate and 18 legal supporting organizations. In the ceremony, Professor Nillawan Petcharaburanin delivered the introductory remarks where the following organizations attended the ceremony;

  • Ministry of Defence
  • Ministry of Finance
  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • Ministry of Tourism and Sports
  • Ministry of Social Development and Human Security
  • Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives
  • Ministry of Transport
  • Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment
  • Ministry of Energy
  • Ministry of Commerce
  • Ministry of Interior
  • Ministry of Culture
  • Ministry of Science and Technology
  • Ministry of Education
  • Ministry of Public Health
  • Ministry of Industry

The cooperation is considered an important step for public sectors to prioritize legislative development in Thailand and it is also a preparation to enter the ASEAN Community at the end of 2015.
